One of the favorite parts of my job is helping teachers find ways to increase creativity in the classroom. Getting students to "create" is actually a daily experience as a theater and movie making teacher... To be clear, I make no claim that their creations rival Shakespeare or Steven Spielberg. However, I love brainstorming with fellow teachers of all subjects and ages to find ways to make your teaching more fun, and rigorous. Let's also talk about using tech to make your life easier and your workload lighter! In my outside life, I enjoy travel, hiking, reading, spending time with my family and my dog-baby, Annie. My educational background is a BFA in Theater Performance from USU and an MA in American History through Pace University.
