Course Description: Building relationships is the most effective way to prevent most issues in the classroom. By implementing a few key restorative practices, we can build a bridge between ourselves and our students as well as our students and each other, which in turn will increase student achievement and academic success. 
What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized: Nearpod
Implemented Strategy: Building Relationships/Social Emotional Learning
What You’ll Experience: We will cover 3 specific restorative practices, how to implement them, and their effect on the classroom culture.  After the discussion we will practice doing each activity in real time. 
What Challenge You Will Do: Select one of the 3 activities we discuss and work up a plan to implement it in your classroom the first week of school.  Share that plan on Twitter.
