Having your Canvas course look good will actually help your students learn! Research shows that having an effective course design will do the following:
Reduces irrelevant cognitive processing for students
Improves the perception of credibility and value for your course
Increases learner motivation and engagement
In this session, we will explore a variety of ways to make your Canvas course BEAUTIFUL and EFFECTIVE!!!
What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized: Canvas, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud Express, Color Palettes, Icons, Emoji’s
What Strategy You Will Master: You will learn how to use tools within Canvas to make your course aesthetically pleasing and effective. In addition, you will get to view how to utilize other tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud Express, and other online resources to help make your Canvas course an aesthetically pleasing experience.
What You’ll Experience: Come and see ways to design your Canvas Course in a visually appealing way.
What Challenge You Will Do: After the tutorial, you will get to work on personalizing your own Canvas course and turn it into a work of ART.
